Locate session value in LocalStorage / SQLite for Android and iOS Cordova Angular Ionic app

We have an existing mobile application built in Angular 1.6 & Ionic using Cordova as a wrapper. The app stores a session after logging in on the app. The session is supposed to be stored in LocalStorage on Android and SQLite on iOS.

We have built an updated app (built-in an up-to-date version of Angular) that will replace this old app. However, we are having issues retrieving the session from the old app to keep customers logged in after updating the app.

On Andriod, I have tried using x-plore to browse the data folder, however, I do not see a com.XXX.XXX folder created for the app and am therefore not able to locate the file that I would have thought to contain the local storage data.

We are looking for assistance to locate where the session string is stored by the old app and how it can be retrieved by the new app.

I can provide the public Google Play and iOS download links for the app, logins, and some segments of the javascript source code to help locate the session. I am not able to provide the complete source code for the app.

The deliverable is where the session string is being stored on both Android and iOS and instructions on how to retrieve the session string when updating the app.

I will ask for your approach before hiring a selected contractor.
