Urgent: Speed up application performance (AWS + MongoDB + Perl + Boostrap + Knockout.js + REST APIs)

We built a low-code platform for a specific industry and have managed good load speeds with a smaller user base.  We have launched a new product on the platform that is being used by 500-2000 simultaneous users and are struggling with load speeds.  We need someone who can look at the whole picture and help us improve load speeds.  Our CPU usage on our servers is low, so the problem doesn't seem to be capable.
